Occupational Therapist - Acute Care, PT Days

About the Role

Provide patient-centered care by developing and implementing medically prescribed programs to maximize patient potential. Work within the scope of practice and adhere to all regulatory standards. Support department growth through participation in special projects and care activities.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients with complex medical needs to restore function, independence, and dignity.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care.
• Respond effectively to emergency situations.
• Promote department development through participation in projects and initiatives.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program; hand therapy experience preferred.
• Current licensure or eligibility in the state; temporary license acceptable up to 90 days.
• Current BLS certification; national board certification preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and emergency response skills.
