About the role
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team at a 116-bed skilled facility providing both short-term and long-term care services. Our facility features a high-acuity trach and ventilator unit, offering a unique and rewarding clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing facility setting.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Assess patients’ functional abilities and needs, and develop individualized treatment programs.
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare providers.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Certified or registered by the NCBOT.
- Licensed in Occupational Therapy (in state of practice).
Qualifications
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Excellent clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in using medical software and documentation systems.
