About the role
This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Advanced Practice Provider to join an employed position within a busy, occupation health clinic, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network. Join an established team of 1 physicians and 2 APPs. Call structure: Back up for NBAF Facility. Practice setting: Outpatient. Access to Support staff. Employed position within a nonprofit health system. Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration. Provide occupational health services to the Manhattan community and (as-needed) to NBAF employees, researchers, maintenance and animal handlers.
Responsibilities
- Orders, performs and interprets diagnostic procedures.
- Provides ergonomics, functional capacity evaluations, physicals, office visits, workplace wellness, rehabilitation, work conditioning, education, and drug testing services.
Requirements
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Certified Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing preferred.
- Education: Master's degree of Nursing required.

- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to interpret diagnostic procedures.
