Responsibilities
- Evaluating and treating occupational injuries and illnesses
- Conducting fitness-for-duty and return-to-work evaluations
- Supporting workers' compensation case management
- Performing pre-employment, surveillance, and regulatory medical examinations
- Conducting DOT physicals and medical certification examinations (preferred)
- Collaborating with employers to develop proactive health and safety solutions
- Promoting injury prevention and employee wellness initiatives
- Providing clinical leadership and guidance to support safe work environments
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board Certification in Occupational Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related specialty
- Current or eligible Texas medical license
- Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (or ability to obtain)
- DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
