About the role

The Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner provides direct employee health services and clinical leadership within an on-site occupational clinic.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating and treating work-related and acute health conditions
• Performing physical examinations
• Prescribing medications and managing referrals
• Coordinating specialized monitoring, including cases such as beryllium exposure
• Managing emergency preparedness and response
• Partnering with employer leadership to promote workplace health, safety, and wellness initiatives

Qualifications

• Clinical expertise in occupational health
• Ability to work independently and provide leadership
• Strong assessment, treatment, and referral skills
• Experience with workplace health programs and emergency management
