Job Title: Occupational Health Nurse II Duration: 12 Months Location: Avon, IN Experience: 2 to 4 years Education & Licensing: Bachelor s degree in Nursing (BSN) and a current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license required. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Occupational Health Nurse II to deliver comprehensive health, safety, and wellness services to our site population. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between employees, management, and the Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) and Human Resources teams, driving proactive health initiatives and efficient injury management. Key Responsibilities Clinical Care & First Aid: Provide immediate, high-quality occupational health services, including frontline first aid response and ongoing treatment and care for site employees. Case & Workers Compensation Management: Manage all employee injuries and illnesses, oversee associated workers' compensation cases, and aggressively pursue cost reduction through effective case management, structured return-to-work programs, and targeted prevention initiatives. Health & Safety Programs: Administer medical surveillance programs, health protocols, compliance logs, and employee screenings. Coordinate corporate occupational health and safety programs across the site. Supply & Inventory Management: Oversee and manage all site medical supplies, equipment, and facility inventory to ensure constant readiness. Training & Emergency Response: Conduct relevant employee health and safety training sessions, participate actively in site emergency response protocols, and collaborate with diverse site safety teams. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with EH&S, HR, site managers, supervisors, and employees to foster a safe, healthy, and compliant workplace culture.
