Occupational Health Nurse

About the role

As an Occupational Health Nurse, you will play a vital part in supporting employee well-being and fostering a culture of safety within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of health-related programs, injury management, and preventative initiatives
• Help to create a safer workplace every day
• Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines
• Work closely with employees, leadership, and external partners
• Manage OSHA logs and ensure accurate recordkeeping
• Administer occupational health programs (e.g., hearing, respiratory)
• Conduct medical evaluations and pre-employment screenings
• Promote wellness through education, screenings, and vaccination programs

Requirements

• Active RN or LPN license in Virginia
• Minimum 5 years of nursing experience
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and workplace health standards
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial settings preferred
