About the role
WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for our Obstetrics unit. This role involves providing exceptional care to labor, delivery, postpartum, and antepartum patients. The ideal candidate will be skilled in supporting cesarean sections and have a strong background in both Labor & Delivery and Postpartum care.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to labor, delivery, postpartum, and antepartum patients.
- Assist in cesarean sections, supporting the patient and caring for the baby alongside the OR team.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort, ensuring a high standard of nursing care.
- Float to Med/Surg, ED, ICU, and Mental Health as needed, acting as a 1:1 sitter without taking a nursing assignment.
- Participate in on-call rotations as required when census is low.
Requirements
- Labor & Delivery and Postpartum experience required.
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
- AWHONN Basic Fetal Monitoring certification.
