About the role
This facility is seeking an Obstetrics Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP) for locum tenens support to fill a current need. Start date: ASAP. The practice setting includes inpatient Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, Obstetrics and Gynecology, with cases covering labor and delivery, postpartum care, gynecology surgery first assist, and obstetrics and gynecology emergency department consults. Responsibilities
- Provide labor and delivery care
- Deliver postpartum care
- Assist as first assist in gynecology surgery
- Perform obstetrics and gynecology emergency department consults
- Work 12- or 24-hour shifts, with at least three 12‑hour shifts per week
- Maintain an average 40‑hour work week
- Provide 24/7 coverage as needed
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- First Assist Certification
- Registered Nurse First Assistant (for Advanced Practice Nurses)
- Active New Jersey license
- Completion of credentialing paperwork (temporary privileges available after)

Pay
$82.45 – $89.25 per hour (locum tenens rate)
Schedule
12‑ or 24‑hour shifts; minimum of three 12‑hour shifts per week; expected 40‑hour work week; 24/7 coverage required.
