About the role

The Medical Director of the OB/GYN Hospitalist Program will lead the development and growth of a women's health program within a physician-led healthcare system.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and oversight for the OB/GYN Hospitalist service
  • Collaborate with employed physicians, community providers, nursing leadership, and hospital administration
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives, physician engagement, patient safety efforts, and strategic planning
  • Serve as a founding clinical partner in the development of an emerging OB/GYN Graduate Medical Education (GME) program

Requirements

  • Board-Certified/Board-Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Experience in hospitalist medicine or similar roles
  • Strong clinical skills and leadership abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree
  • Current medical license in Maryland
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in clinical decision-making and problem-solving

Benefits

  • Salary Range: $355,000 - $445,000 (commensurate with experience and specialty)
  • Eligibility for productivity and quality incentives
