Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

About the role

The OB/GYN Physician role involves delivering comprehensive, quality healthcare within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) to serve the community effectively.

Responsibilities

• Providing primary obstetric and gynecological care, contributing to patient satisfaction and quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborating with the healthcare team under the supervision of the Chief Medical Officer to meet organizational goals.
• Participating in performance evaluations, QA meetings, and developing improvement plans.
• Adhering to clinical standards, maintaining licenses, and ensuring patient safety.

Qualifications and skills

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school with NJ licensure, CDS, and DEA licenses.
• Board Certified or Eligible, current CPR/BLS certification.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred, with a focus on primary care and ambulatory settings; experience with inner-city populations is advantageous.
• Bilingual ability is a plus but not required.

Key duties

• Performing obstetric and gynecological exams and procedures.
• Participating in team-based healthcare delivery.
• Engaging in continuous quality improvement and patient care enhancement.
