Role and Facility Information

The group is seeking one OBGYN on a permanent full-time basis. This position includes 6 - 7 calls (from home) and 3 - 4 OR days per month. Established office practices are available to join; the EMR used is Accuro.

The ideal candidate will be interested in a general OBGYN practice in a community hospital with a strong focus on surgical and office gynecology. The hospital has a brand new OR complex including a dedicated state-of-the-art gynecologic laparoscopy suite for gynecologic surgery. Peace Arch Hospital delivers 1,000 babies annually. The obstetric practice is mainly consultative, with most low-risk deliveries handled by the family practice maternity clinic and midwives. The hospital is proud of its reputation for delivering excellent personalized and compassionate maternity care.

White Rock/South Surrey is a fast-growing waterfront community about a 30-minute drive south from Vancouver. It offers great schools, close access to outdoor activities, and a vibrant restaurant scene. Prospective candidates are welcome to visit the community and hospital, and arrangements can be made to meet with referees.
