Obstetrics Gynecologist Is Needed for Locum Tenens Assistance in OH

About the role

This position provides OB/GYN hospitalist services, including postpartum, antepartum, and gynecological care, as well as consultations. You will manage vaginal deliveries, C-sections, vacuum-assisted vaginal deliveries (VAVD), trial of labor after cesarean (TOLAC), dilation and curettage (D+C), and laceration repairs. The role involves caring for patients across all gestational ages, including those with medical conditions and pregnancy complications.

Coverage is 24/7 in-house, with shifts of 12 or 24 hours. Typically, you will manage 1-3 deliveries and 6-8 patients per shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide obstetric and gynecological hospitalist services
• Manage postpartum, antepartum, and gynecological care
• Perform consultations for OB/GYN patients
• Conduct vaginal deliveries, C-sections, VAVD, TOLAC, D+C, and laceration repairs
• Care for patients at all gestational ages, including those with medical conditions or pregnancy complications
• Provide 24/7 in-house coverage with 12- or 24-hour shifts

Requirements

• Experience in obstetrics and gynecology
• Proficiency in managing obstetric procedures and complications

Pay

Compensation ranges from $150.00 to $225.00 hourly, encompassing base pay, overtime, call, and holiday pay.
