Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician
About the Role
HCA West Florida is seeking OB/GYN physicians to work with our continuity clinic in the Brandon community. This is a faculty position working with residents within the GME program. The clinic includes gynecology as well as serving as a referral center for high-risk obstetrics. The role is 100% outpatient with no call requirement, no nights, and no weekends.
Opportunities include supervision of OB/GYN residents, performing gynecologic procedures in-office, and utilizing advanced minimally invasive, robotic, and vaginal surgery techniques. The clinic features a new DV5 robot, robotic OR suites, and a brand-new state-of-the-art OB/GYN office with a dedicated procedure room, ultrasound, and more.
Responsibilities
- Supervise OB/GYN residents
- Perform gynecologic procedures in-office
- Manage a patient mix of low and high-risk obstetrics
- Utilize advanced minimally invasive, robotic, and vaginal surgery techniques
Requirements
- Board certified or board eligible in OB/GYN
- Must hold or have the ability to obtain an unencumbered Florida medical license
- Experience working and training residents
- Preferred: experience with advanced minimally invasive, robotic, and vaginal surgery
