Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Physician

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient obstetric care as an Obstetrics Hospitalist on a 24-hour in-house call shift.
• Manage a variety of cases including suction dilation and curettage, laparoscopy, non-stress tests, cesarean sections, and tubal ligations.
• Collaborate with a team supported by 3 PAs, midwives, and additional staff during overnight shifts.
• Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and patient management.
• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic inpatient care during assigned shifts.
• Respond to calls from midwives or staff as needed, with minimal assistance required.
• Maintain adherence to credentialing and licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid medical license, with preference for Michigan license; Interstate Medical Licensure Compact considered.
• Certifications in BLS, PALS, and ACLS are required.
• Ability to work independently with strong clinical skills in obstetrics and gynecology.
