About the role

Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, WA is seeking three long-term locum tenens OB/GYN physicians for assignments lasting 12+ months with an ASAP start. The physicians will support a growing women’s health program across multiple care settings, including the outpatient clinic, hospital operating room, ambulatory surgery center (ASC), and limited backup hospital call coverage.

Responsibilities

Physicians will work alongside OB/GYNs, APPs, and certified nurse midwives, providing patient care, clinical consultation, and mentorship to newer providers. Candidates must be flexible enough to transition between clinic and procedural responsibilities based on patient demand and may be required to leave clinic duties for urgent hospital coverage when on backup call.

Requirements

• Board-certified OB/GYN candidates with an active Washington license (or IMLC eligibility)
• DEA registration
• At least three years of post-training experience (or two years plus fellowship training)
• Recent clinic and surgical experience
• Able to practice independently
• Able to work collaboratively with APPs and midwives

Qualifications

Candidates must be able to cover at least two of the following areas: outpatient clinic, hospital operating room, ambulatory surgery center (ASC), and limited backup hospital call coverage. Preference is strongly given to candidates who can work across all three areas.

Skills

A completed provider skills checklist is required prior to bid submission.

Benefits and Pay

Compensation is capped at a maximum bill rate of $450 per hour, with overtime paid after 40 hours worked per week. Vendors must agree to a mutual 90-day cancellation clause, except in cases involving provider performance, misconduct, or safety concerns.

Schedule

The ideal schedule is full-time (five days per week, four weeks per month), though a minimum commitment of two weeks on/two weeks off is acceptable.
