About the role

Eastern Iowa Health Center (EIHC) is seeking a full-time OB/GYN Physician to join their team. As a Federally Qualified Health Center, EIHC provides exceptional and accessible health care services throughout the community.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate team member success and smooth daily operations towards established goals by working with a collaborative care model.
• Conduct assessments to obtain and document pertinent physical, social, behavioral, environmental, and lifestyle factors that influence health.
• Initiate and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures relevant to the patient's status, analyzing the assessment data in determining diagnoses.
• Prioritize diagnoses using appropriate complex clinical reasoning.
• Work a 1:5 hospital call schedule, including 24-hour shifts every 5 days with a post-call day off.

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Current State of Iowa medical license required or ability to achieve same in a short period of time.
• Iowa Certificate of Controlled Substances, Federal DEA, and current CPR certification.

$280,800.00 - $449,280.00

Schedule

1:5 hospital call schedule, including 24-hour shifts every 5 days with a post-call day off.
