About the role
Seeking an OBGYN locum physician for ongoing coverage in a Georgia hospital.
Shift Coverage
- 24 shifts per month
- Options of 12- or 24-hour shifts starting at 7:00 a.m. EST
Responsibilities
- Providing GYN care
- Performing circumcisions
- Acting as first assist in surgeries
Support and Backup
- Hospitalists offer backup for family practice and other services
- Available to assist hospitalists as needed
Hospital Details
- Level II NICU
- Approximately 157 deliveries monthly, with 14 managed by hospitalists
- 269 patient encounters outside deliveries
- No onsite MFM
- In-house anesthesia available
- Use of Epic EMR system
Qualifications & Skills
- Board certification in OB-GYN
- Experience in obstetrics and gynecology procedures
- Ability to perform circumcisions and assist in surgeries
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work collaboratively within hospital teams
