OBGYN Hospitalist Physician (NTT)
Responsibilities
Primary responsibility for OB Triage patients
Dual coverage of Labor and Delivery with two in-house attending physicians at all times to optimize patient safety
Assist with vaginal delivery, Cesarean delivery, management of obstetrical emergencies, and inpatient care
Teach resident physicians (5 residents per PGY year) and medical students
Work collaboratively with Emergency Department, Nursing, Maternal Fetal Medicine and General Ob/Gyn to optimize safety processes and simulation
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications: MD/DO, Board-certified or board-eligible in obstetrics and gynecology
Candidates will be evaluated on: strong communication skills and a desire to work within a model of team-based care.
