OBGYN Generalist, BMC-South (Brockton)
About the role
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Boston Medical Center – South, a member of the Boston Medical Center Health System, is seeking a full-time BC/BE OB/GYN to join their team. This position will serve the practice at BMC - South.
Responsibilities
- Serve the practice at BMC - South
- Work within a team of general Ob/Gyn providers and sub-specialties including Maternal-Fetal Medicine and gynecologic oncology
- Practice in a growing, busy OBGYN setting with multiple locations
- Offer inpatient and outpatient advanced practitioner services and support
- Perform laparoscopic and Da Vinci Robotic surgeries
- Access to Level II Special Care Nursery and Maternal-Fetal Medicine services
- Collaborate with other subspecialties such as gynecologic oncology, urogynecology, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery
- Teaching opportunities and academic appointments available from Boston University
Requirements
- MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school and eligibility for a Massachusetts Medical License
- Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Reasonable call requirements due to participation in a full in-house laborist program
- A passion for clinical excellence and innovation, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Pay
Compensation range between $278,508 - $330,993. The base salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to clinical FTE, qualifications, experience, education, board certifications, specialty, training, and scope of practice. The above hiring range represents a good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Any eligible incentive compensation is not included in the above compensation range and will be discussed during the interview process.
