Ryder is hiring an Outbound Wave Clerk (Operations Technician) in Bolingbrook, IL — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career you can feel good about. Equipment: WMS system, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Computers. Various warehouse fulfillment specialist roles at Ryder support distribution across the US.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years warehouse experience
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel)
• Working knowledge of WMS systems
• Forklift experience
• Equipment certification may be required, depending on location
• Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned

Responsibilities

• Assist in supporting standard facility Key Performance Indicators (KPI) which consistently meet/exceed established goals in safety, quality, sanitation and maintenance
• Create and maintain daily dock schedules
• Communicate with carriers regarding setting appointments and updating load statuses
• Work closely with Operations Supervisor to ensure the work load is being distributed properly and evenly by managing WMS down to the floor
• Work closely with the inventory department and on-site personnel to resolve any problems with the day's orders
• Interact with the customer to communicate order changes and updates
• Maintain various Excel spreadsheets and reports
• Perform other duties as required or assigned

Pay

• Weekly pay
• Hourly Pay $23.00 per hour
• Additional Pay: $1.00 per hour when assigned to Mid-Shift

Schedule

Mid-Shift: Monday - Friday | 11 AM - 7:30 PM
