About the role
Mercy Northwest Arkansas is seeking a full-time, board certified/board eligible OB Hospitalist to join their OB Hospitalist group. The position offers a competitive compensation model, resident stipend and/or commencement bonus, comprehensive benefits, and professional liability coverage.
Responsibilities
- Work with a collaborative staff of OB/GYN physicians and APPs
- Average of 2,600 annual deliveries
- 24-hour shifts dedicated to L&D, Antepartum, and the OB Emergency Department
- 24/7 support from in-house anesthesia and neonatology, with Maternal-Fetal Medicine available virtually around the clock
- Access to a 33-bed Level III NICU
Requirements
- Board certification or eligibility
- Experience in obstetric hospital medicine
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Current license to practice medicine in the state of Arkansas
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Skills
- Strong clinical skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Proficiency in electronic medical records
