Responsibilities

• Provide continuous inpatient obstetric care on Labor & Delivery, Antepartum, and Postpartum units
• Serve as operative backup for CNMs, including support for operative vaginal delivery, advanced laceration repair, and cesarean sections
• Support the OBED during periods of high volume or acuity
• Evaluate and manage consults from the ED and inpatient units
• Perform key obstetric procedures including SVD, operative vaginal deliveries, VBAC management, and C-sections
• Participate in urgent nighttime GYN surgeries when needed, with GYN backup available
• Optional teaching opportunities with rotating medical students

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited institution
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Eligible for Indiana medical licensure
• New graduates and experienced physicians encouraged to apply
• No fellowship required
• Visa sponsorship available (H-1B/J-1)

Schedule

168 shifts annually (mix of 12-hour days and nights, or can be structured into 24-hour shifts depending on team preference).
