OB Hospitalist

About the Practice

The practice consists of 11 OB/GYN generalist physicians, 15 laborist physicians, and 7 advanced practice providers as well as a strong administrative support staff. This group of providers has been serving the Columbia metro area for 20 years with a solid reputation for top notch clinical care. Hospitalist shifts will be done at either the Medical University of South Carolina East Campus or Prisma Health Baptist Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-house coverage for Labor & Delivery, postpartum, and gynecologic inpatient services.
• Perform emergency gynecological surgical care as needed.
• Collaborate closely with other OB/GYN providers, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals when delivering care.

• Hospitalist can expect to perform anywhere from 10-25 deliveries per month.
