AdventHealth Medical Group, Women’s Services, is seeking an experienced and visionary physician to deliver comprehensive menopause-focused clinical care for the Central Florida market. This role is dedicated to full-time menopause management, providing expert, evidence-based care for women navigating perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopausal health needs. Responsibilities

  • Full-time clinical focus on menopause and midlife women’s health
  • Collaboration with OB/GYN, primary care, behavioral health, pelvic floor specialists, and other key specialties for women navigating perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopausal health needs
  • Growing patient demand and opportunity to design a destination-level service line
  • Incorporate lifestyle medicine, complex symptom management, hormone therapy, and non-hormonal treatment strategies
  • Electronic Health Record (Epic EMR) proficiency required

Requirements

  • A Medical Degree: A Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board Certification: Candidates must be board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN)
  • The Menopause Society certification required
  • Extensive clinical experience: At least 5 years of clinical experience in menopause management, with a focus on treating and managing related conditions including vasomotor symptoms and osteoporosis
  • Knowledge of current menopause research and guidelines: Well-versed in the latest research and guidelines related to menopause management, including hormonal and non-hormonal treatment options; familiar with current clinical trials and able to integrate evidence-based practices in treatment plans
