OB/GYN Physician - Locum Tenens Coverage

This role is for an MD providing inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care in a hospital setting. Key responsibilities include managing routine and emergency obstetric cases, performing cesarean sections and gynecologic procedures, and overseeing labor and delivery. The clinician will work through 12-hour and 24-hour in-house call shifts, responding to emergencies and ensuring continuous patient care. The position requires board certification and prescriptive authority. Clinical documentation is completed via the EPIC EMR system. Support staff includes APPs and CNMs available 24/7 for care coordination. The patient population primarily includes adults. Additional duties involve responding to obstetric emergencies, performing procedures, and managing labor and delivery cases during assigned shifts.
