OB/GYN Physician - Locum Tenens Coverage

Role Overview: This inpatient obstetrics position involves providing comprehensive obstetric services in a Level II trauma center with a high birth volume. Responsibilities: Manage obstetric cases including labor and delivery, antepartum, and mother-baby units; perform C-sections, vaginal deliveries, VBACs, ultrasounds, amniocentesis, and circumcisions for low and high-risk patients. All documentation is completed via the EPIC EMR system. Qualifications & Skills: Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology, BLS, NRP, ATLS, DEA certification, and a minimum of 5 years of experience are required. Clinical duties are performed during 12-hour day and night shifts. Additional Details: Support is provided by in-house anesthesia coverage. The patient population includes adults, with a case load of over 400 births monthly. The role is on-site with no call responsibilities.
