El Paso is one of America's most underrated cities — a vibrant, sun-drenched community consistently ranked among the safest large cities in the United States. With more than 300 days of sunshine per year and no state income tax, the quality of life here is exceptional and the cost of living remains well below the national average. The city's rich blend of cultures, festivals, historic sites, and natural landscapes — including the stunning Franklin Mountains State Park right in the city's backyard — means there's always something to explore. Families benefit from access to Division I universities and a range of private colleges, along with strong public and private school options throughout the metro.
