About the role
The newly posted position is for an OB/GYN at PeaceHealth Love. This role is part of a collegial team of 9 OB/GYN physicians and a physician assistant. The facility offers state-of-the-art birthing center services with 2,200+ births annually, including a State-of-the-art Maternal/Fetal Medicine and Neonatology department.
Responsibilities
- Work in a state-of-the-art birthing center with 2,200+ births per year
- Staffed by OHSU physicians in a Level III Neonatal ICU
- Operate in 32 labor/delivery rooms and 3 operation rooms
- Collaborate with OB Hospitalists and OB Anesthetists 24/7
- Treat an average of 15-18 patients per day in clinic settings
Requirements
- Completion of Internship/Residency Program in area of specialty from an Accredited School of Medicine
- Licensed to practice as a physician in the State (during onboarding process)
- OB/GYN board certified or board eligible
- Drug Enforcement Administration Federal Number required
- BLS certification required (during onboarding process)
Qualifications
Qualified candidates must have completed an Internship/Residency Program in their area of specialty from an Accredited School of Medicine. They must be licensed to practice as a physician in the State and hold an OB/GYN board certification or eligibility. Additionally, they must possess a Drug Enforcement Administration Federal Number and BLS certification.
Skills
Strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are essential.
