About the role

Join as an MD in a hospital setting providing inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care, including emergencies, with a focus on continuous coverage during 24-hour in-house call shifts. The role involves managing approximately 220 deliveries monthly and collaborating with a team of 2 physicians, 1 midwife, maternal-fetal medicine specialists onsite, and in-house anesthesia support.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic services during in-house call shifts
• Respond promptly to obstetric and gynecologic emergencies
• Maintain continuous availability for cases requiring immediate intervention
• Collaborate with onsite specialists and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Requirements

• Board certification in obstetrics and gynecology
• Prescriptive authority
