OB/GYN Locum Tenens Physician

Summary Of The Role

This position involves providing obstetric and gynecologic care in a facility with fewer than 200 beds, primarily through 24-hour call shifts in inpatient and operating room settings. The clinician will manage a case load of around 2-3 patients per shift, supporting approximately 600 deliveries annually.

Responsibilities

• Cover a full scope of obstetric and gynecologic cases
• Manage high-risk cases through transfer out procedures
• Maintain on-site availability during shifts
• No outpatient duties required

Requirements

• Hold or be eligible for board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Possess an active New York medical license
• Credentialing takes approximately 45-60 days
