OB/GYN Locum Tenens Coverage

Role Overview

This inpatient obstetrics and gynecology position requires a board-certified clinician to provide full scope OB-GYN care, including inpatient, OR, and OBED coverage, at an on-site facility in California.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive inpatient OB-GYN services and high-acuity cases in both inpatient and operating room settings
• Provide 24-hour in-house call coverage, with approximately 6-8 shifts per month
• Manage a variable patient load for adult patients
• Support the facility's Level II NICU and continuous care operations

Qualifications & Skills

• Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Active California state medical license (credentialing within 90 days)
• Strong clinical skills in inpatient care, high-acuity cases, and OR procedures
• Ability to work independently with excellent judgment and communication skills
