OB/GYN - Locum Tenens Coverage

About the Role

Provides comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in a hospital setting, including laborist support, outpatient services, and emergency obstetric care.

Responsibilities

• Manage approximately 160 deliveries per month
• Perform full-scope OB/GYN procedures
• Ensure continuous coverage during assigned day shifts with negotiable in-house call responsibilities

Requirements

• Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Active California medical licensure

Work Environment

Inpatient and clinic duties at a facility with modern equipment, offering a full range of obstetric and gynecologic services. The hospital handles a caseload of about 160 deliveries monthly and includes a Level II NICU but is not a trauma center.

This is an on-site role with flexible call arrangements, supporting ongoing patient care.
