Ob/GYN Locum Tenens Coverage

About the role

We are seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN for locum tenens coverage with immediate availability. The position involves 24-hour inpatient shifts with call responsibilities, primarily providing GYN coverage in a collaborative environment. Hospitalists are available for coverage and backup support.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of approximately 200 deliveries per month, with about 25 deliveries handled by hospitalists.
• Provide 24-hour inpatient coverage with call responsibilities.
• Work in a facility with a Level I NICU, on-site Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialists, and in-house anesthesia.
• Collaborate with midwives, residents, or the group for circumcisions and first assists (not required of the clinician).

Requirements

• Board certification in OB/GYN.
• Clinical expertise in OB/GYN.
• Adaptability to shift work and call responsibilities.
• Effective communication skills for call backup.
