OB/GYN Locum Tenens

Role Overview: This position is for a Medical Doctor (MD) providing obstetric and gynecologic care in a clinical and surgical setting, primarily on a day shift. Key Responsibilities Deliver OB and GYN services, including Women’s Health cases, to an adult patient population.Manage an average of 20 patients daily in both clinic and surgical environments.Perform GYN surgical procedures (preferred but not mandatory).Prescribe medications and oversee patient care within established clinical protocols.Collaborate with support staff including a family medicine MD with OB, nurse, and CNA. Qualifications & Skills Board certification is negotiable.Prescriptive authority is required.Ability to handle a patient volume of 20 per day.Experience in OB/GYN care preferred. Additional Details: No call coverage required. The role involves on-site work at a 25-bed hospital with a Level IV Trauma Center, serving a regional community. The facility maintains clinical protocols and supports continuous care delivery.
