OB/GYN Hospitalist - Shakopee, MN

Bring your expertise and compassion to a team that's redefining maternal care. Park Nicollet Clinic is seeking a BE/BC OBGYN physician to join their OBGYN team at St. Francis Regional Medical Center, located in Shakopee, MN (20 miles south of the Twin Cities).

Responsibilities

• Provide in-house obstetrical coverage of the labor and delivery unit, antepartum and postpartum units, and triage areas.
• Services include but are not limited to emergency cesarean sections, spontaneous vaginal or operative vaginal births, postpartum tubal ligations, and rounding on antepartum, laboring and postpartum patients, delivered in a thoughtful manner that considers cultural diversity, individual autonomy, and legal responsibilities.
• Provide overall care management for patients without an assigned physician and for those requiring emergency obstetric care.
• Basic gynecologic surgery skills are required (D&C and laparoscopy).

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Current Minnesota Medical License.
• Experience in hospitalist care preferred.
