OB/GYN Hospitalist (Per Diem)
Responsibilities
Pediatrix Medical Group has an exciting opportunity for experienced OB/GYN Hospitalists to come join our team on a per diem basis at Texas Health Harris Methodist Alliance Hospital, an established OB Hospitalist Program in Fort Worth with tremendous administration support. Serving more than 50,000 patients each year, Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Alliance is a vital part of the communities in North Fort Worth, Haslet, Justin, Roanoke and surrounding areas. The hospital has consistently earned the Stage 7 Award from Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society Analytics for advances in health information technology, offering patients the latest in interactive and digital equipment. In addition to providing quality care in a number of medical services such as women’s health, emergency care and heart and vascular, our employees spend a substantial number of hours volunteering outside of the hospital. - OB triage and admissions
- Delivery attendance
- Inpatient care
- Seeing unassigned patients and private call coverage
- Covering the OB floor ER consults for GYN emergencies
- Surgical assists at Cesarean sections
- Emergency response in Labor and Delivery
Qualifications
- Board Certification in OB/GYN
- Minimum of 1 year post-residency clinical experience required
- Active TX license or IMLC license preferred
- Recent OBGYN clinical experience (within the past 12 months) required
