About the role

Optum NY, (formerly Optum Tri-State NY), is seeking a dedicated, patient-centric OB/GYN Hospitalist to join the team in Poughkeepsie, NY. As a member of the Optum Care Delivery team, you will be part of a clinician-led care organization focused on improving healthcare delivery. The role offers clinical resources, data, and support from a global organization, enabling you to help patients live healthier lives in a collaborative environment guided by diversity and inclusion.

Position Highlights

• Independent practice with strong affiliation to a local tertiary care hospital providing a full range of OB/GYN services
• Robust in-house diagnostic testing facility
• Full complement of support teams to assist with patient care
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with care teams

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive women's health services through office visits, deliveries, and inpatient/outpatient surgical procedures
• Maintain a full scope GYN practice including major and minor procedures, such as minimally invasive surgeries with robotics
• Access to GYN-Oncology, Perinatology, and NICU physicians
• Full privileges at Northern Westchester Hospital

Required Qualifications

• Unrestricted licensure in the state of New York or application in process
• Board Certification or board eligibility in OB/GYN
• Active and unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain prior to start
