Ob/Gyn Generalists or Hospitalists
About the role
Ob/Gyn generalists or hospitalists needed for the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Women’s Health/Montefiore Health System. Our objective is to recruit clinically competent and compassionate physicians/educators who are dedicated to the provision of care for the local community in Bronx County and Westchester County, with a focus on the unique health needs of our patients, as impacted by the social determinants of health.
Responsibilities
- Practice which includes clinical and surgical obstetrics and gynecology, outpatient obstetrics and gynecology care, obstetrics and gynecology emergency services
- Option for Obstetrics only practice comprised of hospital shift coverage (75%) and outpatient prenatal care (25%)
- Customize and tailor individual areas of interest (e.g. clinical research, community health, public health, global health) into our clinical care model, with the goal of fulfilling individual, personal career goals
Requirements
Candidates should have an interest in teaching medical students, residents, fellows, and advanced practice providers (NP/PA).
