Unit Details
The Women’s Services Unit is a Level II Maternal Care and Level I Neonatal well baby unit, featuring:
- 2 FT OB/GYN physicians and 5 Midwives
- 2 lactation consultants
- 4 labor rooms
- 10 triage/post labor rooms
- da Vinci DV5 robotics
- 35-50 deliveries per month
Position Information
The position is full-time, taking call 10 days per month with a mid-wife first call model.
Requirements
- Board Certified MD or DO
- Current Texas license
- Obstetrics/Gynecology residency completion required from an accredited ACGME program that includes robotics training
