About the role

Mayo Clinic Health System in Austin, MN, is seeking a full-time (0.75 - 1.0 FTE) Board Certified/Board Eligible Obstetrics and Gynecology physician to join a collegial department. You may expect a busy practice in a physician-led, financially stable organization committed to both high-quality patient care and patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Join 3 OB GYN physicians, 2 Nurse Practitioners, 1 Nurse Midwife
  • 1:5 Call – comp day after call day
  • Call is supplemented by regional/laborist OB/GYNs and supplemental OB GYNs
  • Approximately 625 births and 230 surgical cases annually
  • Level 1 well baby nursery
  • Collaborative relationship with Family Medicine
  • NPs & CNM supports OB and GYN clinic patients
  • High-risk transferred to Rochester at N2 NICU

Qualifications

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified (BE/BC) in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Minnnesota Medical License
  • Exemption Status
  • Exempt

Pay

Competitive compensation and benefit package including a pension fully funded by Mayo Clinic. All positions are salaried. Mayo Clinic is a Non-Profit organization, so all sites qualify for Public Loan Forgiveness. Standard Epic EMR across our entire system. 24-hour consultation available for all speciality care from Rochester. Air and ambulance transport. 7,500 CME allowance and 10 trip days annually.
