OB Assistant -PRN- Mercy Aurora

Overview

Performs direct patient care activities. Receives direction from nurse and reports patients progress and unusual findings in a timely manner. Assists with patient preparation for surgery and deliveries. Performs tasks relating to the delivery/surgical procedure. Assists in maintaining a clean, prepared work environment.

Position Details

• Certifications: BLS, NRP Certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Hazmat Training and STABLE course to be completed within the 1st year of employment.

Physical Requirements

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
