About the role

The Oasis Hotel & Convention Center is a full‑service property with 173 guest rooms and over 30,000 sq ft of meeting and conference space, featuring Fire & Ice Restaurant & Bar (Springfield’s only ice bar). The 2nd Shift Housekeeper maintains the highest standards of cleanliness in guest rooms and public areas while providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service to guests.

Responsibilities

• Cleans public areas including restrooms, hallways, breakrooms, and other front and back of house areas.
• Cleans guest rooms: dusting, vacuuming, changing bed linens, cleaning bathrooms.
• Performs tasks such as dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, washing windows, assisting in laundry, cleaning/buffing floors, and disposing of interior/exterior garbage.
• Reports maintenance concerns and items needing repair.
• Stocks and maintains cart and supply rooms as needed.
• Performs deep cleaning tasks and special projects.
• Delivers guest‑requested items.
• Directs guests to guest rooms and meeting rooms as needed.
• Handles guest inquiries.
• Works with guests to ensure overall satisfaction.
• Takes initiative to be creative when resolving guest inquiries/challenges.

Requirements

• Excellent time management skills

• Must excel in a fast‑paced environment
• A keen eye for detail
• Must have a positive, cheerful disposition
• Prior professional cleaning experience required
• Candidate must be able to pass a physical through Carr Physical Therapy prior to beginning employment with Prime, Inc.

Schedule

Shift is from 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Weekends are required.
