Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and assist with process set up before department starts and tear down after end of shift.
- Attend to equipment operation and processes, notifying Supervisor or appropriate personnel of malfunctions and safety concerns promptly.
- Follow Supervisor's instructions to assign and instruct personnel on daily production duties.
- Perform other assigned duties, including checks and measurements, ensuring adherence to GMP policy and safety guidelines.
- Ensure punctual and regular attendance for scheduled work hours.
- Maintain good housekeeping in assigned area.
- Perform other tasks assigned by Supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications (Educations & Experience)
- Able to read, write, and speak English.
- Bilingual abilities a plus.
- Able to work in a team atmosphere and possess good leadership skills.
- Able to communicate effectively and follow verbal and written instructions & policies.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to walk or stand.
- Able to follow all safety, USDA, and GMP policies and guidelines.

- Must have working knowledge of all positions on the line.
- Must be able to become pallet jack certified if required by area working in.
Physical Demands
- Stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, use hands and fingers to work on a computer, telephone, keyboard or radio.
- Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
- Work in a high noise level environment with potential exposure to loud machinery.
- Work in environments with extreme temperatures (hot, dry, dusty, cold, wet, damp).
- Work with raw and/or cooked meat.
Working Conditions & Travel Requirements
- Work in a food processing plant with a high noise level, storage coolers/facilities.
- Position requires working around processing plant equipment.
- Requires working extended hours, standing for long periods of time, and operating processing equipment.
- Individual must wear and work in personal protective equipment while in the manufacturing environment.
- The noise level of the office environment is usually moderate; the noise level in the manufacturing environment may exceed 85 DBA and require hearing protection.
- May work in hot, dry, dusty, or cold, wet, and damp conditions.
- May work with raw and/or cooked meat.
