OA FIRST PROCESSING SHUTTLE TRUCK DRIVER 2ND SHIFT
About the role
The primary responsibility is to safely transport products between production/storage areas and delivery destinations using forklifts and other equipment. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of Butterball's supply chain.
Responsibilities
- Perform forklift checks daily to ensure proper and safe operation.
- Complete all required paperwork pertaining to product, orders, placement, and inventory.
- Ensure punctual and regular attendance for scheduled work hours.
- Adhere to all USDA and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) product standards and guidelines.
- Communicate with drivers, coordinators, supervisors, and managers.
- Account for all products and materials in assigned area including inventory and product location.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with foot traffic and material handling traffic.
- Use a handheld scanner to scan products.
- Safely operate forklifts (sit down or stand up, pallet jacks, hand trucks, or dollies).
- Follow all instructions and work under minimal supervision.
- Obtain PIT certification.
- Able to communicate with all levels of management.
Qualifications
- Prior Forklift Operator Experience.
- Previous experience working in a food manufacturing environment preferred.
Skills
- Ability to work in a high-noise environment.
- Ability to wear and work in personal protective equipment.
- Ability to work extended hours, overtime, holidays, and weekends if needed.
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions including damp, cold, wet, hot, or warm environments.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Pay
Compensation is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Schedule
