Primary Duties And Responsibilities

• Aid in organizing Peace by Piece events, workshops, and activities.
• Participate in workshops and assist participants in creating knitted projects.
• Create punchcard designs for knitting workshops.
• Help create and distribute educational materials, social media content, and newsletters.
• Support data collection, reporting, and documentation of project outcomes.
• Maintain communication with student groups, campus departments, and community partners.
• Attend regular planning meetings and provide input on programming and outreach.
• Perform general administrative duties such as scheduling, emailing, and maintaining records.
• Represent the Peace by Piece Project at campus and community events.
• Contribute to a welcoming and inclusive environment aligned with the project’s values.

Required Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.

Required Education

• Must be enrolled as a student at Belmont University.

Required Experience

• Experience with social media, graphic design, or event planning is a plus.
• Experience in knitting, sewing, handcrafts, and particularly machine knitting is desired.
