O&M Technician
Job Description
The O&M Technician supports the Power Services division by performing corrective and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities across multiple solar plants. You’ll be responsible for maintaining and servicing electrical, mechanical, and communication systems that directly impact plant performance, safety, and reliability. Success in this role means ensuring solar facilities operate efficiently, safely, and with minimal downtime, all while upholding KE’s commitment to Safety, People, Passion, and Performance.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the electrical industry
- Minnesota Licensed Electrician (Journeyman or Master required)
- Strong knowledge of electrical hazards and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
- Experience with fiber optics, networking, and communication systems
- Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- PREFERRED: Experience with DAS, SCADA, thermal imaging, solar commissioning, IV curve tracing, and heavy equipment operation
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving history and ability to travel locally, regionally, and overnight as needed
Additional Information
Pay Range: $40-$60 per hour plus per diem and incentive opportunities.
