About the role

Working under minimal supervision at a senior apprentice level, performs service work and preventative maintenance and repairs along side the Sr. O&M Specialist on specialized building systems such as mechanical, electrical / electronic, hydraulics, carpentry or machine servicing.

Responsibilities

  • Performs and oversees work orders for preventative maintenance and repairs on building systems at a senior apprentice level.
  • Determines the nature of the problem and ensures that repairs at a senior apprentice level are completed in a timely and quality manner.
  • Performs senior apprentice level maintenance incidental to system operations.

Requirements

  • Education/Formal Training Requirements: Required - Technical Degree or Diploma
  • Work Experience Requirements: Required - O&M Specialist I 1-3 years Preferred - General maintenance and repairs 3-5 years

Qualifications

  • Licenses And Certifications Requirements: Required - Class D Driver License -Tennessee - Tennessee Motor Vehicle Preferred - Class D Driver's License - Arkansas - Arkansas Motor Vehicle Preferred - Class R Driver's License - Mississippi - Mississippi Motor Vehicle

Skills

  • Good written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to read and write and to communicate orally and in writing with other individuals.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations.
  • Ability to work from drawings, diagrams, sketches and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to organize tasks and maintain control of work flow.
