NY Real Estate Associate (4th - 6th Year)
About the role
Paul Hastings' Real Estate Department is seeking an Associate with four to six years of experience to join its RE Finance and RE Development team in New York.
Responsibilities
- Experience representing lenders on mortgage and subordinate commercial real estate loans (including mezzanine loans and preferred equity) and/or experience with real estate acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, borrower-side finance, and development transactions.
- Experience with construction lending or repurchase facilities is a plus.
- This is a unique opportunity to work on deal teams with early responsibility and client facing time.
- Associates will need to be highly skilled at working on the main transactional documents (e.g., drafting joint venture agreements and loan agreements).
Requirements
- Excellent academic credentials and law firm experience are required.
- Candidates must be admitted to the New York Bar.
Qualifications
- The salary wage range that we expect to pay for this position is a minimum of $310,000 and a maximum of $420,000 (annually).
- The actual pay wage may vary based on experience or other relevant factors.
