Responsibilities
- Deliver strong instruction to help students navigate the post-secondary landscape
- Create systems for students to complete application milestones like personal statements and resumes
- Adopt and implement network curriculum effectively
- Engage with college and career counselors to monitor student progress
- Design and implement collaborative unit and lesson plans with the subject team
- Utilize data from assessments to drive instruction and intervention efforts
- Attend and contribute to all professional development and team planning meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a competitive college with at least a 3.0 GPA; Master's preferred
- Two years of teaching experience with a record of high student success
- New York state certified or in the process of certification
- Strong belief in the company mission and educational model
- High level of personal organization, planning, and instructional skills
